Key Features

How to Create a Report

1. Open the Study/Record: Navigate to the patient’s record.
2. Start Dictation:
   • Click the Microphone icon.
   • Speak your findings clearly. You can pause and resume.
   • Say “Period” or “New Line” for formatting (or let the AI infer it).
3. Generate Report:
   • Click “Generate”. The AI will transcribe your audio and format it into a professional report.
4. Review & Edit:
   • The draft appears in the text editor.
   • Make any necessary corrections.
   • Tip: You can tell the AI “Fix the conclusion to mention X” in the chat box to refine the text without typing.
5. Finalize: Save the report to the record.

Using Prompts

medspace supports a Prompt Library.

• Install Prompts: Go to Settings > Prompts to find templates for specific modalities (e.g., “CT Chest Normal”, “MRI Brain Stroke Protocol”).
• Apply Prompt: When generating a report, select your installed prompt to ensure the output follows your preferred structure (e.g., Findings, Impression, Recommendations).

Chatting with the AI

The AI isn’t just for dictation. You can use the chat sidebar to:

• “Summarize this patient’s previous history.”
• “Compare this lesion size to the previous scan.”
• “Suggest a differential diagnosis for these findings.”
